Early Positive Dental Experiences

At Dental One, we believe that helping children feel at ease during their dental appointments sets them on the right path to maintaining good oral health today and into adulthood.

We offer a wide range of dental services for Calgary kids and their developing smiles, and we are committed to providing your child with the most positive dental experience possible.

We understand that visiting the dentist may be an intimidating experience for many children, so we strive to keep the environment inviting, friendly and calm. We work at your child's pace, take breaks if they are feeling overwhelmed, and explain each step of the process in kid-friendly language.

Your Child's First Visit

Babies should visit a dentist after they turn six months of age or at minimum, by their first birthday. By this time, baby's first teeth, or primary teeth, are starting to emerge and it is a critical time to spot any problems before they develop into larger issues.

Dental Services for Kids

At each of Dental One's locations, our services can be tailored to meet your child's oral health needs, and keep their smile healthy.

Preventive Dental Hygiene

Seeing the dentist for regular exams and cleanings when your child is young will help preserve their primary teeth until they are ready to fall out naturally and be replaced by permanent teeth. At each appointment, we will review proper preventive hygiene techniques to ensure your child's smile is receiving the proper care at home.

Restorative Dental Services

Is your child experiencing misalignment issues? Perhaps they are developing a cavity or at risk of tooth decay. In these cases, your dentist may also recommend restorative treatments such as mouth guards and dental fillings.
